2022 Reconnected

Taking place at Wilton’s Music Hall, Reconnected 2022, post pandemic, was a smaller scale event but still with the big conversations and the spread of ideas through storytelling.

Our first live event since 2019 took place at Wilton’s Music Hall in East London on Tuesday 23 August for TEDxNHS Reconnected.

We were back to deliver what we do best: to spark conversation and spread great ideas through the power of storytelling.

We welcomed 10 fantastic new speakers to share their stories from the TEDxNHS stage, alongside poets and performers from all four corners of the UK’s health and care community.

About TEDxNHS Reconnected

TEDxNHS Reconnected celebrated the heart of our health and care community – our people – as we came together to think differently, dream bigger, and design better for the population we serve.

Reconnected was a smaller-scale live event to previous years’ TEDxNHS, with 200 tickets available. This was to balance responding to the energy and appetite of our community to meet in person, respecting that for others this may feel too soon with the upheaval and ongoing trauma of the COVID-19 pandemic.

TEDxNHS Reconnected was livestreamed across the UK and beyond.

Meet the presenter

Rae Williams

Hello, my name is Rae Williams and I, amongst other things, am an NHS Organisational Development Project Officer. Last year I had the incredible opportunity to stand on stage and deliver my own TEDx Talk ‘Somebody Must Go First’ at our Unlocked event, and this year I have the absolute privilege to be your Host for our Reconnected event!

Being a part of the TEDxNHS family has been a magical experience for me, and I am so looking forward to preparing the audience and opening the floor for our brilliant speakers.

I can’t wait for their stories to be heard … and shared!
