Siobhan Ballan

Siobhan is a trailblazer in the fight against child sexual abuse, founding the Beam Project to empower survivors and professionals alike. Her journey began in 2008 when, at just 17, she courageously shared her story, catalysing earlier disclosures of abuse.

The Beam Project, recognised by the Stephen Lloyd Awards, offers groundbreaking training to help children voice their experiences. Siobhan’s advocacy for mandatory reporting laws and her consultation with the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse highlight her relentless pursuit of systemic change. Her work embodies the spirit of lived experience leadership and social entrepreneurship, driving forward-thinking solutions to societal challenges.

Supa Chantschool

Supa Chantschool is a visionary leader and founding member of Hep B Companion, a non-profit organisation dedicated to empowering individuals living with hepatitis B. Since its inception in 2024, the organisation has been a beacon of hope, advocating for patient rights and enhancing care pathways in collaboration with the UK Hep B Pathway Development Group.

With an MSc in International Health Management from Imperial College and a bachelor’s degree in biomedical sciences from King’s College London, Supa has transitioned from a successful career in pharmaceutical market research to entrepreneurship, founding his first company in 2019. His journey is a testament to his commitment to transforming healthcare and championing innovation.

Jason Cohen

Jason Cohen, a pioneer in healthcare technology, has been transforming the NHS for over a decade. Diagnosed with Tourette’s Syndrome at a young age, Jason became one of the first in the UK to undergo Deep Brain Stimulation treatment. His personal journey fuels his passion for improving healthcare systems and advocating for those with neurological conditions.

As a father of three, Jason balances his professional achievements with family life, instilling values of perseverance and empathy. His work inspires and drives innovation, ensuring equitable access to healthcare for all.

Dr Manpreet Dhuffar-Pottiwal

Manpreet is a Chartered Psychologist with a rich background in clinical and academic settings, and she is nearing the completion of her doctoral degree in Counselling Psychology. Based in Bristol, she runs an independent therapy and consultancy practice, specialising in behavioural addictions and intergenerational trauma. Manpreet is on a mission to decolonise therapy, challenging traditional norms and advocating for public engagement with psychological interventions.

Her activism extends to promoting fairness in multigenerational living, addressing the impact of transgenerational trauma. Inspired by the rise of intergenerational households, she founded MultiGen Zen CIC, an initiative to foster harmonious family dynamics through psychological support and community-driven solutions. Manpreet’s work is a testament to her dedication to innovative and inclusive mental health care.

Yvonne Farquharson

Yvonne is a multi award-winning social entrepreneur who develops creative, research-led programmes to improve healthcare and transform lives. Most recently Yvonne won the Women in Social Enterprise Award 2021 and recognised on the WISE100 UK’s top 100 most inspiring and influential women in social enterprise, impact investment and mission-driven business.

Yvonne has gained international recognition for her work in the sector and frequently delivers keynote speeches at health, arts and social enterprise conferences and events globally. Yvone is founder and Managing Director of Breathe Arts Health Research, an arts health research organisation. Under Yvonne’s leadership, Breathe has won multiple national awards and gained recognition as a service provider to the NHS.

 

Molly Fenton

Molly Fenton is a dynamic women’s health activist dedicated to transforming the narrative around menstruation and hormonal health.

Inspired by her personal journey with a brain tumour and challenging puberty, Molly launched the Love Your Period Campaign to dismantle stigma and foster understanding. Her work has earned her numerous accolades, including a British Citizens Award for Services to Healthcare.

Collaborating with global campaigners, Molly is building a supportive platform that serves as a guiding light for young women, embodying her vision of a world where no one feels constrained by their hormones.

Naabil Khan

Naabil Khan is a passionate fourth-year medical student at the University of Exeter, committed to enhancing diversity and representation in healthcare. As the host of the podcast Very Junior Doctors and creator of the award-winning website Skin For All, Naabil has become a prominent voice for Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic communities.

Her efforts have been recognised with accolades such as the 2023 BMBS Citizenship Award and the Rising Star in Healthcare Award 2024.

Naabil’s dedication extends beyond her studies, as she actively engages audiences through her self-published book and impactful presentations across the UK, inspiring the next generation of healthcare leaders.

Dr. Milli Raizada

Dr. Milli Raizada is an esteemed NHS GP with over 15 years of experience, a Senior Clinical Lecturer, and a dedicated advocate for lifestyle and root cause medicine. Her personal health journey led her to explore the intricate relationship between hormones and lifestyle, culminating in her Amazon best-selling book, “Happy Hormones Happy You.”

Through her podcast and social media platforms, Dr. Raizada engages a wide audience, dispelling myths and empowering individuals to optimise their health. Her commitment to education and empowerment is further evidenced by her upcoming PhD, which will contribute to advancing women’s health research in alignment with government strategies. Dr. Raizada’s work embodies a holistic approach to healthcare, inspiring others to take charge of their well-being.

Dr Audrey Tang

Dr Audrey Tang is a Chartered Psychologist (British Psychological Society), and award-winning business author with a focus on practical tools for wellbeing. She founded Wellbeing Media Studio broadcasting her shows “Mental Health Matters” and “Skits and Quibbles (the arts and wellbeing show)” globally with e360TV since Feb 2024 while also providing a media platform to the local community.

Audrey is a qualified teacher (QTS), CPD accredited trainer, Leadership Development coach (ICF), and FIRO-B (relationship) profiler working within organisations.  As well as her mental and emotional fitness workshops (webinar/in person) and coaching practice, she is a long-time advocate for boosting confidence through her community work with CLICK Productions (a theatre group she founded in 1993) offering opportunities to build confidence, boost self-value and learn new skills through shows and performing arts events. Audrey teaches Burlesque for body confidence alongside running wellbeing events.

Lucy Thompson

Lucy Thompson is an innovative international medical tattoo artist and the founder of The Nipple Innovation Project, the UK’s first mastectomy tattoo charity.

Since 2017, Lucy has been a pioneering advocate for enhancing post-mastectomy tattoo services, empowering breast cancer survivors to embrace their bodies.

Through her Areola Academy, she trains a new generation of practitioners, while her partnership with the NHS ensures high-quality treatment is accessible to all. Lucy’s dedication to expanding her charity’s reach underscores her commitment to supporting and uplifting the breast cancer community, making a profound impact through her artistry and empathy.

Joe Tudor

Joe’s journey from a sales career to mental health advocacy began with his own battle with clinical depression. Co-founding Reconnect with Clinical Psychologist Dr. Gillian Bowden MBE, Joe has created a supportive community that explores the root causes of depression.

His work, including co-presenting at the British Psychological Society’s event and launching the Reconnect Podcast, provides invaluable insights and tools for those seeking to understand and manage their mental health. Joe’s story is one of resilience and transformation, inspiring others to seek hope and healing.

Natasha Wilcock

Natasha is a pioneering palliative care doctor working in South London, serving at an inpatient hospice. As a deaf professional, she has firsthand experience of the challenges faced by deaf patients within healthcare systems. This inspired her to establish IDA, an organisation dedicated to transforming the healthcare experience for deaf individuals.

Natasha’s journey in medicine was marked by overcoming significant barriers, proving that deaf individuals can excel as doctors. Her work focuses on ensuring that palliative care is inclusive and meets the unique needs of deaf patients with life-limiting illnesses.

Beyond her medical practice, Natasha is a passionate advocate and educator, working tirelessly to dismantle societal prejudices and improve healthcare accessibility for the deaf community. She also leads Girl Guide groups, offering inclusive activities that empower girls through shared experiences.
